Day 21: His Provision is For a Purpose

God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8

As a giver, you are bound to become a receiver. The scripture indicates that God will bless us abundantly for being cheerful givers. Moreover, he will bless us in such a way that we will have all of our needs met, and we will be able to abound in every good work. So, as a cheerful giver, you will be able to commit yourself to do other good works. Many would describe the scripture as saying that you cannot outgive God. As you commit to becoming a cheerful giver, God will give you more so that you may give more to other good works. In essence, God gives cheerful givers provision with the purpose of them giving to and performing additional good works.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you that as I give cheerfully to your works, you are able to bless me abundantly. I thank you that all of my needs are met, and I am able to abound in every good work. I receive your provision with the purpose that I am able to use it for the upbuilding of your kingdom. Amen.
