Day 15: He Knows your Every Need
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Matthew 6:25-26
Did you know that God knows our needs before we even ask? We can rest assured that our heavenly Father will always take care of us, meeting our every need. In this passage, Jesus reminds us not to worry. He points to the birds who do not store up food or plan for their future, and yet God in his kindness feeds them. Don’t you know that God loves you so much more than the birds? If he cares for them, we can trust him to care for us. Every time you see a bird, be reminded of how great God’s love and faithfulness is towards you. Remember to trust him. He knows what we need before we need it, and he is faithful to provide.
Thank you, heavenly Father, that we can trust you with our needs, both big and small. You are so faithful. We see how you care for the birds and never let them go hungry; thank you that you love us so much more than the birds, and we can trust you to never let us down! Thank you that you are more aware of our needs than we are, and your heart is for us not against. We trust you that you are all-knowing and faithful to provide.
